The Hotel Los Angeles was one of the first to be built in Dénia in 1959.
D. Francisco Estrela, a businessman from Madrid, had the idea of building a hotel
on the beach at a time when the most desirable land was certainly not found on the seafront.
When the hotel opened it had 58 rooms on two floors. This is a family hotel, which has been
managed by the Sellés family from the beginning (1966).
During its forty-year history, it has been rebuilt and modernised on several occasions, most
recently and notably in the 1994 and 2003. The later improvements included increasing the hotel’s
capacity by adding 11 very beautiful penthouse suites on the third floor, overlooking the sea. The
swimming pool and hotel lobby were our final improvements, which have all been carried out to
satisfy our clients’ requirements and wishes.
